Ministries

	Music Ministry – many instruments and musicians utilized in leading Sunday worship

	Drama Team – puppets and other plays incorporated in special services

	Small Groups – operating in homes on Sunday & Thursday evenings

	Prayer – part of Sunday morning worship & small group ministry, as well as Prayer specific group operating on Monday mornings

	Children’s Ministry – JAMB Club, Crèche & Holiday programs held during Sunday services. We also conduct exciting children's activities at the Point Cook Market on the first Sunday of each month - 9am-2pm at Jamieson Way Community Centre.

	Women’s Ministry – "Know Your Bible" groups, "Chicks' Nite In" social activities, and Craft activities

	Men’s Ministry – "U R Male" social activities

	Older Person’s Ministry – we link in with other community groups in seeking to provide activities for seniors

	Youth Activities – Various activities are held on a regular basis throughout the year, including movie & bowling nights, feasting & bibles studies

	Mentoring Program – people available to be encouragers of others

	"Needs Action Group" – facilitating practical help for people in need

	"Focus on Mission" - committee coordinating support for overseas and local community projects. PCCBC is currently supporting two overseas projects: the SAFE WATER project through TEAR (providing access to safe water in countries such as Kenya and India); Christian Blind Mission International (performing cataract operations in other countries); and one local community project Light FM in Melbourne

	Coffee & Chat – held at various times at Michel's Patisserie in the Sanctuary Lakes Shopping Centre

	Christmas By The Lake – involvement in this community event in Sanctuary Lakes each year. The date for this year’s event is Saturday 6 December 2008.

	Fruit Ministry - A sharing of garden produce often occurs on a Sunday morning.

	Recovery Ministry - We offer in cooperation with Newport Baptist and Williamstown Church of Christ the Careforce Lifekeys programs such as: "Search for Life", "Search for Intimacy", "Woman to Woman", "Man to Man", "Door of Hope" as well as offering the Facilitator Training Course. In 2008, "Woman to Woman" and "Man to Man" will be held in second term (April to June) on a Thursday night. Possibly, "Woman to Woman" will also be held during the day. We are planning for "Door of Hope" - for those women needing to deal with issues of abuse – during third term. Our next Facilitator Training Course will be held in fourth term. We are hoping that "Search for Life" will next run in first term 2009. More information on these courses can be obtained by contacting the Pastor.
