Our Mission & Purpose

To love God with all that we have in response to His love for us

To love our neighbour in light of the grace we have received that enables us to love ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40)

To witness to our own experience of Jesus, and fulfill Jesus’ commission to make disciples, beginning closest to home and then allowing our influence to spread through the work of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19-20 & Acts 1:8)

To be a caring Church inclusive of all backgrounds, age groupings, singles & families

To reach out to the Point Cook community (incl. Seabrook, Sanctuary Lakes, Laverton & Altona Meadows)

To be the people of God living according to Kingdom values & principles

To be a blessing to one another through nurturing faith

To be a training ground for effective ministries

To provide creative worship experiences & biblical teaching

To actively support mission initiatives

Our Values

We recognize the Trinity – Father, Son & Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ as Head of the Church, and the Bible as the Church’s authority for faith

We acknowledge the importance of "believers’ baptism" and "communion", and the need to worship God together

It is vital that our whole Church program be under-girded by prayer

We value the importance of being a part of and serving our neighbourhood

It is necessary for people to feel valued, welcome, safe & pastorally cared for

Teamwork is important, along with the encouragement of everyone’s spiritual gifts

We believe in open & co-operative decision-making, respecting everyone’s ideas

Co-operation with other churches & groups is beneficial

Commitment of time, money & talent etc. advances the Gospel

We value receiving support from others
